Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. A 1950s-style parlor where the Fluffernutter twist, marshmallow and peanut butter soft serve, steals the show. Retro vibes, friendly faces, fair prices. Summer isn't complete without a cone here.

100% recommended for ice cream lovers! Super sweet employees and SO MANY OPTIONS!!! I do suggest a KID size if you just want something equivalent to like a small ice cream from DQ (the scoops are BIG). Canβt wait to go back!!!

We stopped by Faye's Ice Cream Parlor in New Cumberland on Bridge Street after a fun round of miniature golf, and it was absolutely worth it. The locally made ice cream was super delicious and you can truly taste the difference in quality and ingredients. For years, I thought all ice cream places were the same, but Fay's really stands out with its retro charm and top-notch flavors. Highly recommend stopping by if you're craving a classic ice cream experience thatβs a cut above the rest.

The place itself is awesome. Fast service and a great atmosphere. The ice cream selection was excellent and tasted delicious. Itβs really nice that they offer soft and hard ice cream options! The ONE minor complaint I would have is that at the end of each of our partyβs cones there was a small Marshmallow. This got soggy and slimy and we didnβt know it was there, so it kind of made us all feel like something nasty was in our cone. Kind of funny in hindsight but not at the time. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back. Just watch out for the marshmallow surprise!

Update: This shop has new owners. While they kept the retro feel they did clear out a few things in order to make the shop look bigger. I added a few new pictures to this review. They expanded their selections of ice cream to include some more modern flavors such as teaberry. Cute shop with great ice cream and a retro look. They make the best milkshakes this side of the Farm Show. I really love it here. It's a real community gathering, and the owners are wonderful. Drop in, you won't be sorry.
